Two-Vehicle Accident Statistics

In the United States, one person is killed or seriously injured in a car crash every minute. Every year, around two million kids and young adults under the age of 34 pass away, and ten times that number are injured.

By the year 2050, traffic-related fatalities in California are projected to rise to almost 10 thousand annually.

The number of people who died in automobile accidents in the state rose by 23.5% from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, it was predicted that 3,898 people would be killed and 276,823 would be injured due to traffic-related incidents. It was estimated that nine people per one hundred thousand who used public transportation perished in 2018.

Eventually, every motorist will be involved in an accident no matter how cautious they may be. This is a helpful reminder of the need to drive safely, maintain reliable vehicles, and maintain constant vigilance while on the road.
