[12-13-2022] Rollover Car Crash in Apple Valley Kills 17-Year-Old PassengerAuthorities reported that a 17-year-old male passenger died in a rollover crash in Apple Valley on Tuesday afternoon, December 13, 2022.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash transpired around 3:40 p.m. at the Blackfoot road and Zuni road intersection.

The initial inquiry stated that the driver, also 17, was traveling south on a dirt field toward the junction when his 2003 Chevy Silverado flipped for reasons under investigation and ended up on its wheels.

The passenger was thrown out the passenger window for not wearing a seatbelt, claimed the authorities.

He was brought to a hospital and eventually transported by air to Loma Linda Medical Center, where he passed away. There is no update on the driver.

Although the accident is still being investigated, it doesn’t seem like drugs or alcohol played a role in it.
