Six people were injured, five of whom were children, in a multi-vehicle collision in eastern Sacramento County on Thursday evening, August 25.
According to Metro Fire, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the 10200 block of Jackson Road, close to Camellia Memorial Lawn cemetery.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District posts on social media, all six victims were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
According to Metro Fire, the other occupants were not hurt and did not want medical attention.
Four cars were involved in the collision. A crumpled red SUV with significant front and rear end damage was visible in a crash photo shared by Metro Fire.
According to Metro Fire, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
