At around 11:26 p.m., the collision happened on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Fourth Street in Ontario.
The motorcycle and the vehicle’s trunk collided.
Firefighters and CHP found a wrecked car and a motorcycle with the rider down, blocking the slow lane when they arrived on the scene.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters and paramedics. Firefighters evaluated the driver of the car but did not transport him.
At this point, it is unclear if alcohol or speed played a role in the fatal collision.
