[01-27-2023] Orange County, CA – Westminster Hit & Run Crash Injures 12-Year-Old in Scooter

A 12-year-old student riding an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Westminster on Friday morning, January 27, 2023.

According to the Westminster Police Department, the hit-and-run crash occurred at around 8:37 a.m. on Milan Street, north of Westminster Boulevard.

The police responded to the scene and discovered that a student was struck by a small Grey SUV (style vehicle) while riding an electronic scooter.

The driver immediately sped away, leaving the scene before the police arrived. Anyone who may have seen the collision is urged to contact the authorities.

The victim, whose identity was not released, suffered possible injuries due to the crash. No other information was available.
