A pedestrian collision resulted in the death of one woman in Chula Vista on Thursday night, January 26, 2023.
Authorities stated that the fatal crash occurred around 6:43 p.m. near Industrial Boulevard and Palomar Street intersection.
According to reports, responders discovered a woman was struck by a vehicle and thrown onto the eastbound lane of Palomar near the trolley tracks.
Paramedics were called, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver remained and cooperated with authorities.
