An unidentified pedestrian was killed after being struck by a trolley in San Diego on Friday afternoon, February 03, 2023.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal light-rail crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Noell and Hancock Streets in a commercial area close to San Diego International Airport.
The circumstances leading to the crash are still being looked into. The pedestrian, whose identity was not released pending investigation, was killed on the spot.
According to the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, the deadly crash caused trolley delays in the area.
