How To File a Police Report Following an Accident
Report the collision to the police once they arrive at the site. Be honest about what you saw and experienced during an accident scene investigation. Whenever you speak, exercise caution and don’t make assumptions about situations you don’t know.
When victims are shocked and anxious after an accident, they may apologize profusely even if they are not at fault. The insurance company may use this action to prove you admitted guilt to deny your claim.
