[02-12-2023] Kern County, CA -Suspected DUI Crash in Bakersfield Killed One, Injured Another

One person was killed and another injured after a suspected DUI crash in Bakersfield early Sunday morning, February 12, 2023.

According to reports, the fatal collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. on East Truxtun Avenue.

Authorities stated that upon arriving, they found a car that had flipped over and two men hurt on the road. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

The crash resulted in the death of one individual, and another individual was taken to the hospital with potentially fatal injuries.

Police think the crash occurred because the driver was drunk and going too fast.
