[03-26-2023] Several Injured After Suspected DUI Collision in Cajon PassA suspected DUI collision left several people with minor injuries in San Bernardino County on Sunday night, March 26, 2023.

According to authorities, the crash transpired around 10:19 p.m. on Interstate 15, about 12 miles before the Oak Hill Road exit.

Reports indicated that a Honda Odyssey carrying two adults and six children traveled northbound when a Dodge pickup, going at an unknown speed, struck the vehicle from behind.

When rescue crews arrived, they discovered both vehicles on the right shoulder, both with significant damage. Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene by rescue crews.

Everyone in the Honda was transported with minor to unknown injuries and released the following day. The driver and passenger in the Dodge truck were not injured.

Officials stated that the Dodge driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Investigations into the cause of the collision are still ongoing.
