[04-13-2023] Tuolumne County, CA – Three People Injured, One Severely, After DUI Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 108

Three people were injured, one severely, following a two-vehicle collision caused by a DUI driver in Tuolumne County on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the DUI crash occurred on Highway 108, east of Bald Mountain Heliport Road, between Cold Springs and Long Barn.

Kenneth F., 27, of Sonora, was traveling west on the highway in a 2018 Nissan Maxima at roughly 50 mph when his vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic. He collided with Lindsay C., 28, of Pinecrest, traveling east in a 2017 Subaru Outback at 45 mph.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and received on-site treatment. Bradley B., 35, of La Grange, a passenger in Fisher’s vehicle, was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries.

Fisher was detained for felony DUI causing great bodily injury when authorities investigated the scene and questioned him.

He was found to be in possession of drugs, although it’s unclear what kind or how much he possessed.
