A pregnant woman was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Thursday evening, April 13, 2023.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. between 24th Street and Q Street.

A pregnant woman driving a sedan collided with a pickup truck, causing her to be trapped inside the vehicle.

The Bakersfield Fire Department successfully extricated the pregnant driver, who sustained minor injuries.

The undisclosed victim was taken to the hospital while investigations about the crash proceeded.
