[04-18-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Two People Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in Victorville

Two people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Victorville Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2023.

According to Victorville City Fire Department, the crash between the silver Toyota sedan and red 2012 Toyota Rav 4 SUV occurred around 2:00 p.m. at Silica Drive, east of Hesperia Road, close to the Tri City Car Wash.

When emergency responders arrived, they found one person with critical injuries who needed extrication. Luckily, the other one only sustained minor injuries.

Witnesses claimed firefighters needed to use the jaws of life to get the female driver out of her silver sedan while CPR was being performed. They canceled the request for an airship and urgently transported the patient to Desert Valley Hospital by ground ambulance. There were no immediate updates available about her condition.

The silver vehicle sustained damage on the driver’s side, and the red Toyota sustained front-end damage.

Police have blocked off Silica Road between Hesperia Road and Business Center Drive in both directions of traffic.
