[04-28-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – One Man Died in Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Phillips Ranch

A fatal accident involving multiple vehicles killed a man in Pomona on Friday morning, April 28, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred near the Phillips Ranch area along the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway around 10 a.m.

Initial reports by the CHP indicated that a white Saturn, a gray Nissan car, a Ford van, and a motorcycle were all involved in the accident.

The coroner’s office reported on Saturday that the deceased was Jay Y., a 34-year-old man from Arcadia.

The circumstances around the crash are still under investigation.
