[05-29-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Bicyclist Critically Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in Long Beach

A bicyclist was critically injured after a two-vehicle collision in Long Beach late Monday evening, May 29, 2023.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the collision happened around 9:45 p.m. along Pacific Coast Highway near Long Beach City College and Walnut Avenue.

A female bicyclist was about to cross the opposite lanes when an unknown vehicle struck her.

The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later stabilized.

The driver did not suffer any injuries and cooperated with ongoing investigations. The authorities have yet to release further information.
