A 47-year-old motorcyclist was killed, and another driver was injured after a two-vehicle collision in Red Bluff on Saturday afternoon, June 03, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 2:00 p.m. along South Avenue near Woodson Bridge.
An 87-year-old driver named Joseph R. was driving a 1998 Buick when he turned at Gardiner Ferry Road and struck Brian S., who was driving his 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Smith succumbed to his fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Russo sustained minor injuries.
The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
