[07-15-2023] Sonoma County, CA – 1 Person Killed, Another Injured Following Solo ATV Crash in Cloverdale

A person was killed while another was injured after a solo ATV crash in Cloverdale on Saturday evening, July 15, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at a property on River Road near Highland Ranch Road around 7:00 p.m.

Two people on the ATV were traveling west at high speeds on a gravel road when they crashed into a wire fence and power pole while attempting to turn and pass through a gate.

Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the ATV. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger sustained minor injuries.

The victim and the driver were not wearing their helmets at the time of the crash.

No information was released regarding the identities of the two people involved.
