[07-18-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – Bicyclist Senior Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision in Stockton

A bicyclist in his 60s was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision in Stockton on Tuesday evening, July 18, 2023.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the incident occurred near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and West Yokuts Avenue at around 10:15 p.m.

Officers found the man near the intersection unresponsive. The vehicle involved in the crash was nowhere to be seen. No information was released regarding the events that led to the crash, pending an investigation.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld until the notification of next of kin.
