[07-28-2023] Fresno County, CA – Man Died After Being Struck by Vehicle While Riding His Skateboard on East Cornejo Avenue

A man named Martin M., 22, was killed after being struck by a car while riding his skateboard in Fresno County on Friday evening, July 28, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at Highway 43 and East Conejo Avenue.

Based on the report, the accident involved a Dodge sedan traveling south on Highway 43. The man riding his skateboard unintentionally crossed the highway and collided with the car.

Regrettably, the man lost his life in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, as witnessed by a CHP who was present at the scene and witnessed the tragic accident.

After the initial investigation, the CHP stated there was no suspicion of alcohol or drug involvement in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
