A man was killed after being struck by a car in Sacramento County on Saturday evening, August 26, 2023.
The Sacramento Fire Department confirmed the incident near Center Parkway and Arroyo Vista after 8:30 p.m.
According to the authorities, officers discovered a man in the street following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Unfortunately, the man was declared deceased at the location.
The authorities also confirmed that the driver stayed at the scene. Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will reveal the deceased’s identity once the next of kin has been informed.
The investigation is ongoing.
