[08-26-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Men Injured After Violent Dog Attack in Woodland Hills

Two men were injured after a dog attack in the neighborhood of Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, August 26, 2023.

A Chatsworth man, identified as Emeterio M., was in the park when he was mauled by what witnesses stated was a mixed pitbull breed with black spots in Warner Park, Woodland Hills.

During the attack, a bystander, Patricio F., heard the commotion and rushed to help the victim and was attacked by the dog in the process.

After the incident, the owner immediately fled the scene in a vehicle, and the authorities are now investigating her whereabouts.

The two victims suffered significant bite injuries across the chest and arms and were rushed to the hospital.
