[10-06-2023] One Person Injured Following Three-Vehicle Collision in ClovisOne person was injured after a multi-car collision in Clovis on Thursday evening, October 05, 2023.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Shaw and Willow Avenues.

Initial investigations indicated a semi-truck was turning into a commercial parking lot near Shaw and Willows Avenue when a sedan crashed into it. The sedan spun around and thereafter collided with a third vehicle.

A 54-year-old male sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The other people involved in the incident included a male in his 40s and a family of four.

The collision caused traffic congestion, which resulted in the temporary closure of Northbound Willow Avenue.

Other details regarding the accident are currently unknown as investigations are ongoing.
