[10-07-2023] Fresno County, CA – Male Motorist Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Rollover Collision in North Santa Fe Avenue

A male motorist was hospitalized with a serious hand injury after a two-vehicle rollover collision in Fresno on Saturday afternoon, October 07, 2023.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash happened at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Santa Fe and Herndon Avenues.

Police reports stated that a man was driving on North Santa Fe when another car swerved into another lane and collided with his vehicle, causing it to overturn for more than 100 yards.

The motorist lost several fingers, and he was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center, where he is in stable condition. The other driver was reportedly uninjured.

The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, but alcohol and drugs were not involved.
