A female juvenile was hospitalized following a vehicle collision in Encinitas on Wednesday morning, December 13, 2023.

According to the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station, the collision occurred around 7:34 a.m. on Santa Fe Drive outside of San Dieguito Academy High School.

The minor legally crossed the drive and was struck by a vehicle that was reportedly making a right turn at a slow speed. The juvenile was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
