[12-14-2023] Stanislaus County, CA – 67-Year-Old Woman and 9-Year-Old Critically Injured After Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision in Riverbank

A 67-year-old woman and a 9-year-old were critically injured after a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in Riverbank on Thursday morning, December 14, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:45 a.m. near Westgate Drive and Saxon Way.

A 50-year-old driver struck the 67-year-old and her granddaughter, leaving them with severe injuries. Both victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the collision with the cooperation of the 50-year-old driver.
