Six people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3, Siskiyou County, on Sunday evening, February 25, 2024.

According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the crash happened around 8:00 p.m. at the base of Forest Mountain, near Fort Jones Area.

Officials said the collision involving two vehicles resulted in six people needing transport to nearby hospitals. The severity of their injuries remained unclear.

As of now, there have been no additional details about the incident. Authorities are gathering all necessary information to determine the cause of the crash.
