One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Lakeshore Boulevard at Rainbow Road in Lakeport late Sunday morning, March 16, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before noon. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found a male occupant unresponsive inside one of the vehicles.
Firefighters attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was later pronounced dead.
The Lakeport Fire Chief turned the scene over to the CHP for further investigation around 12:15 p.m.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
