A grandmother was injured after a red sedan crashed into a home in San Jose in a hit-and-run incident on Sunday afternoon, March 23, 2025.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Story Road and Garber Place. The vehicle struck the house while a family was inside.
A young man who lived in the home said, through a translator, that he was in his room when he heard a loud crash. He rushed to the front door and found the car inside the house, with his grandmother nearby.
The woman reportedly struck her head during the incident and was transported to the hospital. She is expected to recover.
San Jose Police have confirmed the crash was a hit-and-run and stated that the investigation is ongoing.
