A driver sustained moderate injuries following a crash involving a car and a commercial truck on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County on Tuesday night, March 25, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. about a quarter mile from the Highway 1 exit toward Lompoc.
The car was reported to have become partially lodged beneath the truck. The driver of the car was able to exit the vehicle independently and was transported to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured. A diesel leak from the truck was contained by emergency responders.
