[04-02-2025] Kern County, CA – One Injured In Car Crash On Highway 395 In Ridgecrest

One person was injured in a crash on Highway 395 just north of China Lake Boulevard in Ridgecrest on Wednesday afternoon, April 2, 2025.

Authorities responded to the scene at 2:09 p.m. after a report of a collision between a blue Hyundai Elantra and a dark-colored GMC Sierra pickup.

The driver of the GMC appeared unharmed, while the driver of the Hyundai sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. Both vehicles ended up off the roadway, and there was no highway closure.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
