At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and a Saturn sedan on Bear Mountain Boulevard just west of General Beale Road near Arvin on Wednesday night, April 16, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. and involved a grey Saturn sedan and a semi-trailer truck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and authorities confirmed that at least one fatality occurred as a result of the collision.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Kern County Coroner’s Office once the next of kin are notified. The CHP is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
