A 58-year-old male bicyclist from Visalia was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Tulare on Friday evening, April 18, 2025.
According to the Tulare Police Department, the crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Cross Avenue and Coelho Street.
Officers arrived to find the injured bicyclist suffering from multiple injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved, a 54-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Authorities stated that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be contributing factors.
The identities of those involved are being withheld pending notification of the victim’s family. The Tulare Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
