[04-21-2025] Alameda County, CA – Two Drivers Killed in Fiery Head-On Crash on Highway 84 in Livermore

Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash on Highway 84 (Isabel Avenue) in Livermore early Monday morning, April 21, 2025.

According to the Livermore Police Department, officers responded to the scene between Vallecito Road and Kalthoff Common at approximately 5:49 a.m.

The collision involved a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling northbound and a Honda sedan traveling southbound.

Investigators said the two vehicles collided head-on, and one vehicle reportedly caught fire following the crash, as noted in the California Highway Patrol incident log.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released, pending notification of their families.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
