[08-11-2025] Los Angeles County, CA โ€“ Two Hospitalized After Head-On Crash on Sierra Highway in Palmdale

Two people were hospitalized after a head-on collision in Palmdale early Monday morning, August 11, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 12:28 a.m. at 35738 Sierra Highway, near the Pearblossom Highway.

CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig said the conditions of the two drivers were not immediately available.

A report stated that a BMW sedan became engulfed in flames, but the male driver was able to exit the vehicle. The female driver of a Honda CR-V was trapped inside the damaged SUV, and firefighters worked for about 20 minutes to free her from the wreckage.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
