A bicyclist died after being hit by a van in Linda, Yuba County on Tuesday afternoon, August 12, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. on North Beale Road near Lindhurst Avenue.
Officials said a 60-year-old man was riding a bicycle with an attached trailer when a van struck him, ejecting him onto the shoulder.
CHP said the vanโs driver stopped and is cooperating with investigators. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
