A teenager was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a truck in Clovis on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2025.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:05 p.m. at the intersection of Athens and Perry avenues in a residential neighborhood.
Police said the teen was riding a bicycle, hauling a trailer with a pressure washer, and planning to earn money by washing trash cans when the crash happened. The teen was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The incident remains under investigation.
