A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by an SUV while crossing the street near Victor Street and Bellflower Street in Adelanto on Wednesday morning, September 3, 2025.

According to initial reports, the crash occurred around 8:31 a.m. The victim was attempting to cross the street when they were hit by a vehicle traveling at a low rate of speed. The pedestrian sustained a large laceration to their right arm and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Sheriffโ€™s officials reported that the driver of the black Nissan Pathfinder remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The SUV appeared to have sustained front-end damage to the lower bumper on the passenger side.
