[09-06-2025] San Bernardino County, CA โ€“ Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Central Road and Pahute Road in Apple Valley

Two people were transported to local hospitals following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Central Road and Pahute Road in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Saturday night, September 6, 2025.

According to the Apple Valley Police Department, the crash occurred just before 8:30 p.m. and involved a white Jeep Compass and a gray Ford Bronco. The Ford came to rest in the yard of a home on the northwest corner of the intersection, narrowly avoiding a direct collision with the house.

Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District extricated the driver of the Ford using the jaws of life. Both drivers were transported by ground ambulances for medical care. The collision also damaged a utility pole and a stop sign, prompting Southern California Edison to respond and secure hanging wires.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department.
