One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 118 near Saticoy, Ventura County, on Monday morning, September 8, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. near Wells Road, just west of Vineyard Avenue.
The collision involved a gray Honda Accord and a silver Chevrolet, with the Honda sustaining major damage.
First responders at the scene provided CPR to one individual, but later reports confirmed that the person was declared dead. It is unclear whether the individual died at the scene or was transported to a hospital before being pronounced dead. The victimโs identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The CHPโs Ventura-area office is investigating the crash.
