A 59-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle at Cedar and Gettysburg avenues close to Fresno State on Tuesday night, September 23, 2025.
According to Fresno Police Lt. Henry Garcia III, officers responded just after 10:30 p.m. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. There were no signs of drugs or alcohol.
Police said the cause of the collision is under investigation.
