[10-02-2025] Glenn County, CA – Texas Driver Killed, Two Others Injured in Crash on 6th Street in Orland

A 66-year-old Texas man was killed after his Chevrolet collided with a Toyota on 6th Street in Orland on Thursday afternoon, October 2, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the Texas driver accelerated into the rear of a Toyota driven by 35-year-old Seth H., with 30-year-old Whitney U. as a passenger, both from Forest Ranch. The impact caused both vehicles to lose control and overturn.

The Texas driver was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries. Seth and Whitney sustained minor injuries. The identity of the Texas driver is being withheld pending further notification.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
