[10-12-2025] San Diego County, CA โ€“ Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Pickup Truck on State Route 79 in Julian

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck on State Route 79 in Julian, in rural northeastern San Diego County, on Sunday afternoon, October 12, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:43 p.m. at 4541 State Route 79, north of KQ Ranch Road, near the Pinezanita RV Park and Campgrounds.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the rider has not been released.

CHP continues to investigate the collision.
