Two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Sixth and Imperial Avenues in Calexico on Friday evening, November 28, 2025.
According to the Calexico Police and Fire Departments, the crash happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. as the pedestrians were crossing the street and were hit by a northbound vehicle.
A Mercy Air Ambulance landed in the intersection to transport the more seriously injured pedestrian, while the second victim was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
