[08-09-2025] San Bernardino County, CA – Bicyclist Critically Injured in Collision with Minivan in Old Town Victorville

A male bicyclist was critically injured after crashing into a minivan late Saturday night in Old Town Victorville on August 9, 2025.

The collision was reported at around 11:29 p.m. at the intersection of D Street and Sixth Street.

Preliminary information indicates that the bicyclist collided with a gray 2013 Honda Odyssey minivan occupied by an adult female and a small child. It appears that the passenger side of the van sustained the most damage.

Victorville City Fire personnel arrived at the scene and initially requested a helicopter to airlift the bicyclist to a trauma center. However, the request was later canceled. They transport the patient by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Authorities closed the intersection during the investigation. The minivan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation.
