[09-24-2026] Riverside County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Collision With Tractor-Trailer on Indiana Ave. and Jefferson St.

A bicyclist was killed after a collision with a tractor-trailer at an intersection in Riverside on Thursday morning, September 24, 2026.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the crash occurred at around 10:25 a.m. at Indiana Avenue and Jefferson Street, just south of the Riverside 91 Freeway.

Police said a big rig was making an eastbound turn onto Indiana Avenue from northbound Jefferson Street when the bicyclist and trailer collided.

The truck driver stopped at the scene following the crash. Paramedics arrived and attempted life-saving measures, but the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the bicyclist and truck driver were not immediately released.

The Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
