[09-29-2026] Orange County, CA – 63-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By SUV in Garden Grove

A 63-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by an SUV in Garden Grove on Tuesday afternoon, September 29, 2026.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 3:48 p.m. to Chapman Avenue, west of Euclid Street.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban. Responding officers provided medical assistance until Orange County Fire Department paramedics arrived.

The man was transported to UCI Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and cooperated with detectives investigating the collision.
