[09-28-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Motorcycle Riders Injured in Collision Involving Pickup Truck in Gardena

Two people on a motorcycle were injured, one critically, after a collision with a GMC pickup truck in Gardena on Monday evening, September 28, 2026.

According to the Gardena Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m. in the area of El Segundo Boulevard and Budlong Avenue.

The motorcyclist was transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in critical condition. A passenger on the motorcycle was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The pickup truck driver was not injured.

Although the collision was initially reported as a possible hit-and-run, police said all parties remained at the scene. The pickup driver cooperated with investigators.

The Gardena Police Department Traffic Bureau continues to investigate the incident.
