Fresno, California, is a large city that sees more than its fair share of car accidents in which people sustain life-threatening injuries. It’s a fantastic city with an excellent cost of living index and a unique street layout divided into quadrants.
From 2003 to 2016, nearly 11,000 car accidents occurred in Fresno, which should be cause for concern for anyone who lives or works in the area.
According to a recent NHTSA study, over 13,000 people were killed in multi-vehicle crashes involving passenger vehicles, which account for more than 40% of all motor vehicle accidents each year.
Many people involved in multi-car accidents don’t have much time to avoid colliding with cars. Because they are afraid, most drivers swerve out of their lane, hit the brakes, and crash.
Vehicles that swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid a collision frequently cause a larger chain reaction, and more cars pile up. One of the most dangerous types of accidents is a multi-car accident.
