[04-27-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Fatal Bicycle Crash in Simi Valley Results in One DeathA 69-year-old man identified as Stephen W. was killed following a fatal bicycle crash in Simi Valley on Wednesday afternoon, April 27, 2022.

The collision transpired at approximately noon on Los Angeles Avenue and Sycamore Drive in Simi Valley.

The victim was riding his bicycle along the road when suddenly struck by a flatbed truck for unclear reasons.

Unfortunately, the bicycle rider was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured in the mishap.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash. The Simi Valley Police Department is further investigating the case.
