[05-29-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Pomona

One unidentified person was killed following a deadly pedestrian crash in Pomona on Sunday evening, May 29, 2022.

The accident happened in the 1600 block of South Towne Avenue in Pomona at approximately 8:28 p.m.

The unidentified man was struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons. The driver that struck that man remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The victim was found by emergency personnel unresponsive on the street. He was rushed to a hospital but was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead.
